The processing flow of corn flour milling equipment mainly includes four core steps: cleaning, peeling, grinding, and graded packaging. The process details of equipment of different scales vary
1. Raw material cleaning stage
Removal of impurities: Corn enters the vibrating cleaning screen through a hoist to remove large and small impurities such as straw, sand, and gravel, while cooperating with a fan for dust removal
Stone removal: Gravity or secondary stone removal machines are used to remove adjacent stones, and some equipment may be equipped with magnetic separators to remove metal impurities
Moisturizing Grain with Water: Add an appropriate amount of water (about 1% -2%) through a turbid water dragon or water machine to soften the corn skin for subsequent peeling
2. Peeling and embryo separation
Primary peeling: Use a sand roller peeling machine for the first peeling of moist corn, and some equipment uses dual sand rollers to achieve two peeling processes
Polishing treatment: The iron roller polishing machine further cleans the residual skin, reduces the breakage rate, and removes the broken skin through a suction separator
Grading screening: After peeling, corn is classified by particle size through grading screening. Large particles enter the color sorting machine to separate the embryo and black spots
3. Grinding and sieving
Crushing pretreatment: Some processes will first use a crusher to crush corn kernels into small particles, improving grinding efficiency
Multi pass grinding: using a compound grinding machine (usually 3-6 units) combined with a high square flat screen for cyclic grinding, and controlling the powder fineness by adjusting the grinding roller speed ratio
Fine flour extraction: the flour cleaner separates the powder with different particle sizes, and high-quality corn flour is collected through the pulse dust collector
4. Finished product processing
Automatic packaging: the corn flour in the finished product warehouse is transported to the packaging scale through the auger, and the production line with a daily output of more than 200 tons is often equipped with a double pack scale to speed up.
